1 person killed in Pembroke Pines shooting

Victim driven to nearby hospital with gunshot wounds

PEMBROKE PINES, Fla. – Pembroke Pines police are investigating a fatal shooting that occurred early Friday.

Police were called to a home at 11938 SW 12th St. just before 12:50 a.m. after reports of a possible shooting. While en route, officers learned that a car had arrived at Memorial Hospital West with a person suffering from a gunshot wound.

The victim, who has not been identified, was pronounced dead at the hospital. 

No other information has been released.
