BOCA RATON, Fla. – Police are investigating a Thursday afternoon bank robbery in Boca Raton.
The robbery happened just before 2 p.m. at a Wells Fargo branch on North Federal Highway.

Employees told police that a man entered the bank, handed the teller a note and demanded money.
Police said the man showed the employee a small silver object, which he said was a grenade, although police said it may have been a flashlight.
The man handed the teller a bag and told the employee to put money in it. He got away with an undisclosed amount of cash.
Surveillance photographs showed that the man was wearing a white fisherman-style hat.
Anyone with information about the robbery is asked to call Boca Raton police.
