Businesses evacuated due to gas leak in Lauderhill
Leak reported in area of Northwest 56th Avenue, Oakland Park Boulevard
LAUDERHILL, Fla. – Numerous businesses were evacuated in Lauderhill Monday afternoon after a gas leak was reported in the area.
A Lauderhill Fire Rescue representative said the area of Northwest 56th Avenue and Oakland Park Boulevard was shut down as a hazmat crew worked to clean up the spill.
The spill has since been contained.
No other details were immediately released.
