MIAMI BEACH, Fla. – Miami Beach authorities said the people who lived in two apartments could be displaced, following a fire at an apartment building near 14th Street and Euclid Avenue early Friday morning.

A Public Information Officer for Miami Beach Police told Local 10 that firefighters were alerted to the building fire at about 2 a.m. The caller reported seeing smoke coming from the building.

The apartment was evacuated; upon arrival, firefighters extinguished the flames and found significant smoke damage in the unit where the fire may have started.
