Man shot to death in North Miami Beach

Police have no motive for shooting

NORTH MIAMI BEACH, Fla. – A man was shot and killed in Saturday night in North Miami Beach.

North Miami Beach police were called to reports of a shooting in the 1500 block of Northeast 151st Terrace about 8:45 p.m.

"Upon arrival, the officers began searching the area and found a black male lying in the middle of the road," Capt. Richard Rand told Local 10 News. "He was pronounced deceased shortly after they arrived."

Neighbors told Local 10 they heard about four gunshots.

Rand said a motive for the shooting isn't known. He said police also don't know if there was more than one shooter.

The victim's identity hasn't been released.
