The most wanted man in Mexico and the United States is now a source of inspiration for a Halloween costume.

A Mexican company has designed a mask in the image of Joaquin "El Chapo" Guzman, the drug lord who staged a spectacular escape from a Mexican maximum security prison in July.

The mask maker says that by escaping, El Chapo has become the most popular man in Mexico.

Guzman's escape has been one of the top news stories in Mexico this year.

The company had already designed masks of presidents and other characters. But this one of the infamous Sinaloa cartel leader has rapidaly risen to the top, the mask maker said.

The company produced 2,000 masks and costumes just to begin. They're now making an additional 1,000.  They have been distributed throughout Mexico and the company is planning to also sell the costumes in the United States where the news of the escape shocked Mexicans and others alike.
