Florida Keys woman arrested on weapons, drug charges

Deputies: Search at home turns up crack cocaine, marijuana, numerous weapons

SUMMERLAND KEY, Fla. – A Florida Keys woman has been charged with possessing drugs and being a convicted felon with guns, the Monroe County Sheriff's Office said.

Deputies said a search warrant was served by detectives at 47-year-old Lori Pilotti's home at on 41st Street in Summerland Key at 4:30 p.m. Friday.

A search turned up crack cocaine and marijuana in various locations inside the home, along with numerous weapons, including multiple handguns, rifles, shotguns and ammunition, deputies said.

There were three people at the home while the search was taking place, including Pilotti, who was arrested, according to the Sheriff's Office.

Deputies said detectives found $990 in cash, believed to be proceeds from drug sales, in Pilotti's purse.

Pilotti was charged with possession of cocaine, marijuana and drug paraphernalia. Deputies said she was also charged with being a felon in possession of firearms.
