An American Airlines representative said the LaGuardia Airport-bound flight had a curfew that it missed. The airline offered passengers the opportunity to fly into John F. Kennedy International Airport instead or to stay overnight in Miami to take the first flight out Wednesday morning.

All airport operations continued as normal as the bomb threat was investigated.
