MIAMI – A Miami-Dade County judge has reduced charges against the wife of a Miami Dolphins player who was arrested last month outside Sun Life Stadium.
Miko Grimes, who is married to Dolphins cornerback Brent Grimes, was arrested Sept. 27 on felony charges after she allegedly broke through a barricade of police bicycles and entered a restricted area of the stadium.
Police said Miko Grimes disobeyed several orders from officers to stop. They said she quickly became combative and head-butted an officer while she was in handcuffs.
"F--- you, cops," police claim she screamed at them. "You can't tell me what to do."
Miko Grimes now faces two misdemeanor charges of resisting arrest without violence and disorderly conduct.
Earlier this month, a judge granted her request to travel to London to watch her husband play against the New York Jets.
