DANIA BEACH, Fla. – Detectives are searching for a man who snatched a woman's purse from her car outside a Dania Beach preschool.
The incident was reported about 8 a.m. Aug. 19 outside the Academy at Griffin Harbor in Dania Beach.

Newly released surveillance video shows the victim taking her child out of the back seat and entering the school. A man then pulls up in a tan 2000 to 2005 four-door Cadillac DeVille with dark tinted windows.
The video shows the Cadillac moving in and out of various parking spots before the driver steps out of the car and snatches the woman's purse from the front passenger side.
Detectives describe the thief as a black man in his early 30s to early 40s. He is about 5 feet 9 inches tall and has a fade.
Anyone with information about the identity of the thief is asked to call Broward County Crime Stoppers at 954-493-TIPS. A reward of up to $3,000 is being offered for information that leads to an arrest and conviction.
