Cemal Egilmez accused of slapping man whom he heckled at poker table

Cemal Egilmez is accused of slapping another man at a poker table at Gulfstream Park.

HALLANDALE BEACH, Fla. – A South Florida man was arrested at a Hallandale Beach casino after he told another man that he had "baby nuts" and slapped him in the face, police said.

Cemal Egilmez, 45, was arrested early Tuesday morning at Gulfstream Park. He faces one count of aggravated battery.

According to a police report, Hallandale Beach police said Egilmez was heckling a man who was playing at the same poker table, telling the man that he had "baby nuts." Police said the man got out of his seat and showed Egilmez a $500,000 balance in his bank account from his cellphone.

The man then showed the balance to a woman sitting next to Egilmez, prompting Egilmez to slap the man across his mouth, the report said.

Police said Egilmez chipped one of the man's teeth with his watch, causing permanent disfigurement.

Gulfstream Park security personnel separated the men.
