4 suspects, ages 14 to 18, apprehended

MIAMI – Four teenage boys are being questioned after police said they confronted two teenagers who got off a school bus Tuesday afternoon.

Miami police said the four suspects, ages 14 to 18, were in a stolen vehicle when they approached the victims and demanded everything they had, including their shoes.

The victims told police they believed one of the suspects had a gun. They told police they ran away at some point during the confrontation and alerted officers.

"We were able to set up a perimeter and within a few hours we were able to apprehend all four robbers," Officer Kenia Fallat told Local 10 News.

Police are investigating whether the group may be responsible for similar crimes in the area.
