2 arrested in fatal Fort Lauderdale club shooting

Joshua Rogers, 27, survived 2 shootings before being gunned down Wednesday

Joshua Rogers, 27, died early Wednesday morning after being shot outside a Fort Lauderdale nightclub.

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. – Two men have been arrested in connection with a fatal shooting outside a Fort Lauderdale nightclub that was reported last week.

The shooting happened about 4:20 a.m. Wednesday in the parking lot of B.A.M. nightclub near West Broward Boulevard and Northwest 28th Terrace.

Broward Sheriff's Office spokeswoman Keyla Concepcion said a deputy was patrolling the area and found a man's body after hearing gunshots. Joshua  Rogers, 27, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Awince Lasseur, 27, was found by authorities Saturday in Plantation, and Peudritto Joseph, 32, was arrested Saturday in Jacksonville. Both men face charges of attempted second-degree murder.

Rogers' grandmother told Local 10 News that Rogers had been shot twice before Wednesday's shooting.
