MIAMI – Miami police are searching for a thief who was captured on surveillance video breaking into 12 vehicles at a condominium building in Brickell.
The burglaries were reported at about 3:45 a.m. Dec. 19 at the Metropolitan, 2475 Brickell Ave.

Police said the thief, who was wearing black pants and a gray sweater, stole items from the cars and caused extensive damage.
The thief is described as a white man between the age of 25 and 30. He is about 5 feet, 10 inches tall and weighs about 180 pounds. He has black hair and a thin pencil beard.
