Armed man robs Miami Little Caesar's, police say

Man robs restaurant armed with knife

MIAMI – Police are searching for a man who robbed a Little Caesar's Pizza restaurant at 827 SW Eighth Ave.

Police said the man walked into the restaurant Thursday at about 8:40 p.m. with a shirt over his head and a knife in his hand. He then began demanding money from an employee, Rosa Leiva.

Leiva told police she could not open the register, so she got her manager, Aaron Taft, who was able to open both registers.

The man got away with an undisclosed amount of money.

Police described the man as white, approximately 25 years old, 5 feet 7 inches tall and 150 pounds. He was last seen wearing a dark shirt and pants.
