Roach issue found at Parrilla Argentina 2 in Hialeah

NORTH MIAMI BEACH, Fla. – A severe rodent issue was recently found by a state inspector at Susie Lai Chinese in North Miami Beach.

State records show a dead rodent, rodent droppings and rodent rub marks were all found in the kitchen.

State records also show a severe roach issue at Parrilla Argentina 2 in Hialeah.

Both places were ordered shut but were allowed to re-open following an ordered clean up and re-inspection.

"Rodent activity present as evidenced by approximately 30 fresh rodent droppings found on the floor behind

the water heater which is located in the kitchen. Also approximately 20 fresh rodent droppings observed in a

food storage room on shelves and floor. This storage room does not have a door."

"Rodent rub marks present along walls/ceilings."

"Grease accumulated on kitchen floor and/or under cooking equipment."

"Food stored in ice used for drinks. See stop sale. Bottle water."

"Food being cooled by non-approved method as evidenced by inadequate rate of cooling during time of

inspection. Cooling cooked chicken by running under water, water not draining."

"Wall soiled with accumulated grease, food debris, and/or dust."

station front counter. Brick wall has open crevices where they are coming in and out. Inside outlet covers."

"Evidence of feeding stray/wild animals _ food/water bowls provided outside. Outside cat food in bowls."

"Manager lacking proof of food manager certification."

"No proof of required state approved employee training provided for any employees."
