At least 2 shot in Miami-Dade drive-by shootings

Police work to confirm if incidents are connected

MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, Fla. – Two people were shot in a drive-by shooting Monday night in northwest Miami-Dade County.

Miami-Dade police said one person was shot in the shoulder and the other person was struck in the ankle in the 1600 block of Northwest 114th Street.

The victims were identified Tuesday as Marc Lauriston, 24, who lives at the home where the shooting occurred, and Delice Livenson, 21.

Police sources told Local 10 News reporter Andrew Perez that there were three drive-by shootings in the area.

Officers were working to confirm if the incident was connected to two other drive-by shootings. One occurred near Northwest 129th Street and Northwest 18th Court. The other took place near Northwest 14th Avenue and Northwest 117th street.

There was no immediate information on the number of people injured in those shootings.

The shootings remain under investigation.
