JetBlue data center power outage causes nationwide delays

Power restored by 3 p.m.

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. – Travel plans were disrupted for some JetBlue passengers for a couple hours Thursday afternoon after the airline reported issues with its network.

"We're experiencing intermittent network issues due to a data center power outage," the airline posted to Twitter. "We're working to resolve & should be restored shortly."

Some flights were delayed at Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport and some flights had "No takeoff info – call airline" listed when passengers checked their flight statuses online.

"We're working to resolve the issue as soon as possible," JetBlue said in a statement. "Customers traveling today will receive updates from airport crewmembers. We will also provide additional updates on blog.jetblue.com as they become available."

Power was restored by 3 p.m. and FLL officials said all flights that were delayed have already taken off. Flights from 3 p.m. on are scheduled to take off on time.
