DEERFIELD BEACH, Fla. – Broward Sheriff's Office deputies are investigating after a convenience store robbery suspect was fatally shot by employees.
Deputies received a call at 7:40 p.m. Friday about a robbery at Snappy Convenience Store at 115 SE 10th St. in Deerfield Beach.
The robber was shot by employees during the incident, deputies said.
Homicide detectives were investigating the man's death Friday night.
Deputies said Southeast Tenth Street was closed Friday night from Second Avenue to Deerfield Avenue.
