CORAL SPRINGS, Fla. – A 12-year-old child was struck by a car Monday afternoon in Coral Springs.
Authorities said the incident happened in the area of Ramblewood and Coral Springs drives.

The child was taken to Broward Health North with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
It's unclear whether the driver will be cited.
The identity of the child was not immediately released.
