Coral Springs woman arrested, accused of stabbing boyfriend

Both suspect, victim call 911 for help

CORAL SPRINGS, Fla. – A Coral Springs woman is accused of stabbing her boyfriend, and police said she was arrested after she called 911.

Jensine Brown, 26, was arrested Sunday morning at her home.

Coral Springs police said they were called to her home after getting a 911 call from Brown and her boyfriend.

An arrest affidavit states that Brown's boyfriend told a dispatcher he "just got stabbed by (his) girlfriend."

Moments later, Brown called 911 to say that, "(her) boyfriend beat (her), so (she) had to stab him to get away," the arrest affidavit said. She then pleaded with the 911 operator to send someone to help her.

Officers said they arrived and found the boyfriend bleeding profusely from the chest and shoulder. He was treated for those wounds and then released from a hospital.

According to police, there were no signs of injuries on Brown. She was arrested on charges of aggravated battery with a deadly weapon and taken to the Broward County jail.
