Woman strikes again at same Radio Shack, slips merchandise under dress

BSO says dress-wearing thief did same thing at same store in February 2015

WESTON, Fla. – A woman at a Radio Shack in Weston stuffed several hundreds of dollars' worth of electronics under her dress 11 months after doing the same thing at the same store, according to the Broward Sheriff's Office.

BSO spokeswoman Gina Carter said the most recent theft happened Jan. 20 at the Radio Shack on Weston Road.

Surveillance video shows the woman, accompanied by a man, enter the store, choose some merchandise from the shelves and stuff them under her dress. The couple then walked out of the store.

Detectives said it appeared the woman had a bag hidden under her dress.

The same couple is believed to have stolen more than $1,000 worth of computer components in the same way from the same store in February 2015.

Anyone who recognizes the couple is asked to call the BSO at 954-389-2010 or Broward County Crime Stoppers at 954-493-TIPS.
