Students and firefighters celebrate Black History Month with books

Firefighters from Miami Fire Rescue Station 13 read Black History Month themed books to students at Phyllis Ruth Miller Elementary.

MIAMI – Firefighters with the City of Miami Fire Rescue celebrated Black History Month by reading books to students at Phyllis Ruth Miller Elementary School on Wednesday.

Those firefighters from Station 13 read several books to students that highlighted black history including stories about baseball players, scientists, inventors, and President Barack Obama's journey to the White House.
