Students and firefighters celebrate Black History Month with books
MIami Fire Rescue firefighers read to students
MIAMI – Firefighters with the City of Miami Fire Rescue celebrated Black History Month by reading books to students at Phyllis Ruth Miller Elementary School on Wednesday.
Those firefighters from Station 13 read several books to students that highlighted black history including stories about baseball players, scientists, inventors, and President Barack Obama's journey to the White House.
And yes, there was even a book about becoming a firefighter.
