Homestead teen accused of extorting additional victim for sex, money
Terry Fenelon, 18, remains at Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center
HOMESTEAD, Fla. – A Homestead teenager accused of extorting sex from two girls now faces additional charges after a third victim came forward.
According to an arrest report, Terry Fenelon, 18, first targeted the girl in September 2013 and told her that she had to have sex with him or he was going to tell her mother that she was involved in a burglary.
The girl told detectives that Fenelon, who is a student at Homestead Senior High School, contacted her again in March 2014 via the KIK messanger app and told her that If she refused to have sex with him again that he would tell her mother about the first sexual assault.
According to the report, Fenelon contacted the girl a third time last December and told her to pay him $45 to keep quiet about their initial sexual encounters. She said he demanded that she give him an additional $10 two weeks later, which she complied with.
Fenelon was originally charged Wednesday with extorting sex from two girls.
Authorities said Fenelon told the girls that his name was "Dre" and threatened to harm the victims' families or expose nude photos of the girls if they didn't continue to send him more photos. One of the victims told police that she was unsure how Fenelon received the initial semi-nude photo of herself.
According to prosecutors, Fenelon also threatened the girls in order for them to have sex with him or perform oral sex.
Fenelon is charged with sexual battery by coercion and threats/extortion.
Prosecutors said the investigation is ongoing, because there are indications of additional victims.
Fenelon is being held at the Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center without bond. Anyone who believes they were victimized by Fenelon is asked to call the State Attorney's Office hotline at 305-547-3300.
