FWC says man was test-driving personal watercraft

Officials with the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission said Jose Montes de Oca arrived to "test-drive" the watercraft and something happened during the test drive. It was found in some trees, but the man has not been seen since.

FWC said a call came in around 7:30 p.m. Saturday. Miami-Dade police had their helicopter in the air searching Blue Lagoon Lake behind Antonio Maceo Park. Miami Fire Rescue had search boats on the water Saturday night. Authorities said divers were in the water as well.

The 46-year-old man authorities are looking for is described as Hispanic, wore dark clothing and also wears a pacemaker.
