MIAMI – Sen. Marco Rubio dropped out of the race after losing Florida to Donald Trump.
Rubio won only one county out of the state's 67. He won about 63 percent of the Republican votes in Miami-Dade County, where some 110,000 voted for him.
"After tonight it is clear that while we are on the right side, this year we will not be on the winning side," Rubio said during his speech at Florida International University.
Rubio, who left with 167 delegates, was able to outlast Jeb Bush, who hauled in at least $100 million.
