2 arrested for several armed robberies of 7-Elevens, deputies say

POMPANO BEACH, Fla.Two people were arrested March 20 in connection to armed robberies at several 7-Eleven locations, the Broward County Sheriff's Office reports. 

Over the course of two weeks Jaqwhon Wigley, 22, and Olivia Mckenzie, 22; targeted four 7-Eleven locations, deputies said.

These incidents took place between Feb. 23 to March 7.

During the first armed robbery Wigley is believed to have acted alone when he struck the 7-Eleven located at 2040 NE 49th St., deputies said. The following day the 7-Eleven at 14 North Federal Highway was robbed at gunpoint. 

On Feb. 26 Wigley and Mckenzie acted together when they cut the power from the 7-Eleven at 2391 North Dixie Highway, and went and robbed the store with a machete, deputies said. 

The final robbery happened on March 7 when couple went to the 7-Eleven at 290 West Copans Road. 

Wigley and Mckenize are facing multiple armed robbery charges.
