Marshall said a man entered the bank and demanded money from an employee.

Surveillance photographs showed that the man was wearing a Memphis Maniax T-shirt from the defunct XFL football league.

The second robbery was reported a few minutes before 6:30 p.m. at a TD Bank branch on South Federal Highway in Deerfield Beach.

Surveillance photos showed the man wearing a red hooded jacket and yellow gloves. His face was partially covered and he wore dark sunglasses.

Marshall wouldn't say how much money was taken in either robbery.

That was the third bank robbery in Broward County on Thursday.

A man wearing a white hat and white shirt robbed a Chase branch on Sunrise Boulevard in Plantation earlier in the afternoon.
