Thunderstorms and heavy rains crossed through the area on Friday evening, just hours after the outdoor festival began. Concertgoers were urged to seek shelter until after the storms had passed.
There was confusion on the grounds as many concertgoers thought the event had been canceled for the evening, but festival organizers used Twitter to say that the concerts would continue after the storms had left the area.
