Man accused of grabbing 14-year-old girl at Hollywood bus stop

David de Jesus Cuellar, 32, arrested for lewd and lascivious molestation

HOLLYWOOD, Fla. – A man was arrested Monday morning after he grabbed a 14-year-old girl who was standing at a school bus stop in Hollywood, authorities said.

The incident was reported about 7 a.m. in the 1800 block of Madison Street.

According to an arrest report, David de Jesus Cuellar, 32, of Miami, approached the victim at the bus stop near Hollywood Central Elementary School and placed his hand on her thigh and buttocks.

Police said the victim tried to walk away, but Cuellar grabbed her right arm, squeezed her wrist and said, "Don't go anywhere. Stay here."

According to the report, the victim pulled her arm away, ran off and called her mother.

Police said the victim and her mother called authorities and circled the area in their car to try to find Cuellar.

He was spotted trying to enter a locked building at Regent Park at the Young Circle condominium complex, authorities said.

The victim identified Cuellar to officers as the man who grabbed her. He was arrested on a charge of lewd and lascivious molestation on a minor.
