COCONUT CREEK, Fla. – A Coral Springs man was arrested after he brought his 4-year-old son to a bar in Coconut Creek and then got into a fight with another patron, police said.
William Stone, 26, was arrested Wednesday on a child neglect charge.

According to a Coconut Creek police report, Stone brought his son to Johnny O'Brian's Irish Pub and spent about three hours drinking at the bar with a friend.
While Stone was drinking, his son was running around inside, police said, prompting another bar patron to confront Stone about his drinking with a child present.
Police said that led to a physical altercation between the men in front of Stone's son.
According to the report, the boy was hiding behind a table while his father and the other man were fighting. A woman at the bar eventually got the boy away from the fight.
An employee at the bar broke up the fight and escorted Stone outside until police arrived.
