Robber wearing hat, jacket gets away with money from Chase Bank in Fort Lauderdale

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. – A robbery was reported Thursday afternoon at a Chase Bank branch in Fort Lauderdale.

According to the FBI, a robber entered the bank at 1800 N. Federal Highway shortly before 12:30 p.m. and demanded an undisclosed amount of money from a teller.

Agents said money was taken, but no one was injured during the robbery.

Surveillance video shows the robber wearing a white hat, purple shirt and black sweatshirt.

Anyone with information about the robber's identity is asked to call the FBI at 754-703-2000 or Broward Crime Stoppers at 954-493-TIPS.
