Cedric Coleman, 29, sought in homicide at Extacy Gentleman's Club

Coleman should be considered armed, dangerous, police say

MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, Fla. – Miami-Dade police are searching for a man believed to be responsible for a weekend homicide at a gentleman's club in northwest Miami-Dade.

The incident was reported about 4 a.m. Sunday at the Extacy Gentleman's Club at 726 NW 79th St. left one man dead and another wounded, according to police. 

Police said Cedric Coleman, 29, is wanted on a first-degree murder charge.

Investigators said that Jackson Wilton and Coleman were both ejected from the club, other with several other people, after getting into an altercation. 

Wilton was standing outside the club when Coleman drove by and shot him, police said. 

Miami-Dade Fire Rescue responded to the shooting and declared Wilton dead at the scene of the shooting. 

Another man was also hit during the shooting and taken to Ryder Trauma Center in a white Nissan Altima, police said. That person is in critical but stable condition. 

Anyone with information about Coleman's whereabouts is asked to call Miami-Dade police at 305-471-2400 or Miami-Dade Crime Stoppers at 305-471-TIPS. A reward of up to $3,000 is being offered for information that leads to an arrest and conviction.
