Man arrested, another sought in Davie home burglary

DAVIE, Fla. – One man has been arrested and another man is being sought in connection with a home burglary that was captured on surveillance video.

The theft was reported last Thursday in Davie.

Jason Ward was arrested Wednesday on charges of burglary, grand theft and criminal mischief. Another man, Robert Robinson, is being sought and has an active warrant for his arrest.

Davie police said the men pried open an apartment door with a crowbar and stole cash, jewelry and a rifle.
