PEMBROKE PARK, Fla. – The news came to the Local 10 News studios Thursday night when a shooting victim arrived in the station's parking lot looking for help.
The man, who hasn't been identified, was driven to the station by another man just after 11 p.m. The victim had been shot at an unknown location.
Broward Sheriff's Office deputies and paramedics arrived minutes later, as well as the victim's mother.
The man was alert and sitting up as he was loaded onto a stretcher and taken to a hospital.
The circumstances surrounding the shooting remain unclear.
