PINECREST, Fla. – Residents of Pinecrest are being warned about unwelcome visitors in the neighborhood.

The Pinecrest Police Department posted a warning Tuesday on Facebook about a homeowner who spotted an alligator in their backyard.

The alligator was reported in the 7100 block of Southwest 133th Street.

Officers from the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission will be investigating the report.

Tuesday's sighting comes a day after an alligator was found outside a home in the Country Walk neighborhood of Southwest Miami-Dade.
