POMPANO BEACH, Fla. – A man accused of stealing a boat Tuesday in Pompano Beach was arrested Wednesday.

Broward sheriff's deputies said Raykel Carmona, 28, was identified by a witness who recognized him in surveillance video released by Sea Tow.

According to Sea Tow, surveillance video captured the man attempting to steal one of its boats from the Hillsboro Inlet Fishing Center about 12:30 a.m. Wednesday, but Carmona could not put the boat in gear.

The boat was found halfway out of the slip.
