7 arrested at Piper High School after food fight, police say

Students face misdemeanor disorderly conduct charges

SUNRISE, Fla. – Seven students were arrested Tuesday at Piper High School after what started out as a food fight, Sunrise police said.

Sky 10 was above the school at 8000 NW 44th St. and saw multiple police cars parked outside the school.

Police said numerous students were involved in a food fight during lunch and then refused to go back to class.

Students were seen running through the hallways of the school after the incident.

Police said all of the students are juveniles and face misdemeanor disorderly conduct charges.
