Man shot after fight at barber shop in northwest Miami-Dade

35-year-old man in critical condition, police say

MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, Fla. – A man was shot Saturday after a fight at a barber shop in northwest Miami-Dade County, police said. 

The shooting was reported shortly before 1:30 p.m. at First Klass Barbershop on Northwest 119th Street.

Miami-Dade police Detective Marjorie Eloi said Williamson St. Hilaire, 35, was shot after getting into a fight with two other men.

Police arrived and found St. Hilaire with a gunshot wound to his abdomen.

Eloi said St. Hilaire was taken to the Ryder Trauma Center at Jackson Memorial Hospital. She said he was "critically injured."

Investigators were looking for two men seen running east from the barbershop after the shooting.

Police were asking anyone with information to call Miami-Dade Crime Stoppers at 305-471-TIPS.
