Suspected burglar arrested after police chase ends in Lauderhill

Police searching for three others


LAUDERHILL, Fla. – A suspected burglar was arrested Monday after a police chase ended in Lauderhill, authorities said.

According to a Plantation police representative, officers responded to reports of a burglary in progress just before 3 p.m. in the 600 block of Northwest 65th Avenue.

Police said officers saw a car parked in the driveway, which had been reported stolen out of Delray Beach.

Police said four men who were inside the vehicle fled from officers.

The car was finally stopped in the 5500 block of West Oakland Park Boulevard, authorities said.

One man was arrested, but police are still searching for three other men who ran from the car.
