Public Storage re-opens after Laura Cuni's murder

Police say killer tied woman up, beat her to death

MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, Fla. – The Public Storage facility where police found a 54-year-old woman's body was no longer a crime scene on Saturday in Southwest Miami-Dade County. But detectives were still searching for a killer.

A law enforcement source said her killer tied her up and beat her to death.

Authorities removed Public Storage manager Laura Cuni's body from the back office, where they found her dead on Friday.

The facility, 10505 Marlin Road, is located next to a canal that leads to Biscayne Bay. The business had more security Saturday afternoon.
