Man soaks marijuana in brain preservation liquid

Man is being charged with abuse of a corpse

Police charged a Pennsylvania man with abuse of a corpse and conspiracy after they discovered he had been spraying embalming fluid on his marijuana, The Associated Press reports.

Joshua Lee Long, 26, was found out by authorities after his aunt discovered a human brain in a bag under a porch June 21.

After inquiring about the brain, Long reportedly told his aunt he was using the pot-formaldehyde hybrid to get high.

"The defendant related that he knew it was illegal to have the brain and that he and (another man) would spray the embalming fluid on 'weed' to get high," said investigator Trooper John Boardman.

Officials believe the brain was most likely a stolen teaching specimen. Long allegedly named the brain "Freddy."
