MIAMI – A 15-year-old boy was injured Tuesday in a shooting in Miami, authorities said.
The victim was found about 4 p.m. in the 1300 block of Northwest 59th Street, but police do not believe that is where he was shot.
Police said the teen was taken to Jackson Memorial Hospital. He suffered a gunshot wound to the thigh and ankle and is expected to make a full recovery.
The victim's identity has not been released.
It's unclear what led up to the shooting.
