POMPANO BEACH, Fla. – The Broward Sheriff's Office is investigating after a car was stolen from a 7-Eleven with a 1-year-old inside.
Deputies said they responded to the call around 9:30 p.m. that the vehicle had been stolen from 2391 N. Dixie Highway.

BSO said approximately 20 minutes later the vehicle was found abandoned at 1541 NW Second Avenue with the child still strapped in the car seat and unharmed.
No arrests have been made, and it's unclear if officials have identified a suspect.
