(LAKANA) – A British woman is suing to try to get her neighbors banned from cooking spicy food and is also seeking compensation.
According to the complaint, the woman claims that her neighbors have been "causing overwhelming pungent toxic fumes from their cooking of hot chilies which permeate her home," The Daily Mail reported.
The woman claims she has suffered from respiratory problems, which have caused reactions such as choking in her sleep and gasping for air.
The lawsuit raises other complaints, including as failed repairs and carbon monoxide levels.
She is seeking damages for personal injury and loss of earnings.
