MIAMI BEACH, Fla. – It's amazing how one nice gesture can make one person's day or that of an entire police department.
Miami Beach Police tweeted out a picture this morning showing a thank you note left on the windshield of an officer's patrol car.

"What a nice surprise, a thank you note was left on our officer's vehicle," read the post.
The car was parked along Alton Road in Miami Beach when the anonymous person left the note.
A small gift that no doubt put a smile on the officer's face and left them feeling appreciated by the community they protect.
