Woman believed to have stolen from spa locker at Eden Rock in Miami Beach.

MIAMI BEACH, Fla. – A woman who paid for services last month that she never went through with at a Miami Beach spa is believed to have stolen $50,000 worth of jewelry and cash from a spa locker.

The locker burglary was reported July 25 at the spa at the Faena Hotel.

According to an incident report, a security guard said the same woman has committed thefts at the hotel before.

Police said the woman identified herself as Ana Adam and paid for her spa service with three visa gift cards, which she requested be returned to her.

The woman then pried open a wooden locker with an unknown object and took a woman's Cartier watch, diamond earrings and $380 in cash, the report said.

Police said the woman left the spa before fulfilling her spa service, likely because of the theft.

A similar theft was reported the same day at the Eden Rock Hotel, where the same woman was captured on surveillance video.

Police said the victim at the Eden Rock did not file a police report at the time of the incident and it's unclear how much was stolen in that case.

Anyone with information about the thefts is asked to call Miami-Dade Crime Stoppers at 305-471-TIPS.
