WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. – The Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office is asking the public for help after a man was found dead in a sugar cane field near Canal Point.
U.S. Sugar workers discovered the body of Jose Castro sometime after 10 a.m. Tuesday in the sugar cane field near Connors Highway and Muck City Road.

Detectives aren't sure how long Castro was dead before his body was found.
PBSO spokeswoman Teri Barbera said the murder investigation remains open.
