Man recovers from leg wounds at Broward hospital

DANIA BEACH, Fla. – A man was on the Florida East Coast Railway rail tracks when a cargo train struck him on Friday night, according to authorities. 

Paramedics responded to the area near Dania Beach Boulevard and North Federal Highway, Broward Sheriff Fire Rescue spokesman Mike Jachles said. 

The man, whose legs were severed, was at Broward Health Medical Center on Saturday morning.
