Authorities said the deputies were called to the home just before 10 p.m. about a domestic disturbance involving a man with a knife.

Authorities said the deputies were directed to the backyard, where they were confronted by Gregory Frazier, 55, who was holding a knife.

Authorities said both deputies fired their weapons, killing Frazier.

Both deputies remain on administrative leave while the Florida Department of Law Enforcement investigates the shooting.

Both deputies were hired last year by the BSO.
